The Art of To Go

I do realize that an individually packaged single-serving portion of ice cream is not a novel idea. After all, eating no-name vanilla ice cream with a little wooden stick is something I've enjoyed since I was in primary school. But why go for passé flavors of my youth when I can enjoy gourmet flavors like rhubarb & strawberry from Mövenpick? In a country famous for its quality dairy products, it only makes sense that the company boasting "The Art of Swiss Ice Cream" will more than satisfy my ice cream sweet tooth.

I have never actually been to a Mövenpick ice cream counter (I know -- poor me), but I don't have to go to one to enjoy their tasty ice creams. Especially handy when I'm on the go and need a quick fix on my way home from the supermarket, Coop sells convenient single-servings of Mövenpick sorbets, ice creams, and frozen yogurts for CHF 3.20 apiece. With the lid designed as such to fit a miniature plastic ice cream spoon and the product as delicious as any purchased directly from an ice cream shop, here's proof that I don't have to sacrifice quality for convenience.

  1. OOPs... I always spell things wrong and have to delete my original comments!

Rhubarb must be a great flavor for ice cream! So used to it in baked goods.

I predict for you more sunny hot days and more single servings on your way home.
