Update

Isaiah and I hosted a Thanksgiving style dinner for some friends a couple of weekends ago. One friend was so excited to prepare some good ol' American recipes like green bean casserole and candied yams that she wants to make it a Christmas tradition in her German family!

Our yummy dinner - almost all gone!

Last weekend, on Saturday, we did a little Christmas shopping in Zürich. It was a very beautiful day - much better than the last time we were there.

Zürichsee (Lake Zürich)

Crowded Christmas Market at the train station.

Swarovski crystal figurines at the base of the Christmas tree at the station.

Crystal ornaments covered the entire tree!

Last Sunday we only left our house once to go for a sunset walk near Fußach, Vorarlberg, Austria. It is where the Rhein river meets the Bodensee. This spot is actually just over the border and not too far from our home.

If you look carefully, you'll see some dark spots floating on the water - they're birds.
