Holiday Wish List: Yellow Gold!

Bracelet/Earrings/Necklace/Ring
This post is written in partnership with JULIAN & Co.

I've been a fan of yellow gold ever since I was a small child. Growing up, I always noticed that both my parents wore yellow gold and not just their wedding rings but bracelets and necklaces, too. They gave me a small yellow gold ring with a heart, my first ring, when I was very young, and I still have it. (I'm hoping someday to pass it on to a daughter or grand-daughter.) Over the years, until he passed, my dad gave me yellow gold on my birthday or for Christmas. Some of it was a little flashy for my taste, but you'd better believe I treasure those tokens now and still proudly wear them! If I were to choose some new pieces of yellow gold to add to my collection, they would be simple pieces like these from JULIAN & Co. Classic and timeless. The perfect way to balance out the jazzy gold from my daddy ;)

P.S. To ensure delivery in time for Christmas, place your JULIAN & Co. orders by December 10!

  1. oh, girl - it looks like we have the same taste in jewelry! In Sardinia yellow gold is really big too, and I have several pieces in yellow gold that were gifted to me, but are a bit too... shall we say "heavy"? for my taste ;-) So as a teen I basically ran the other way and have opted more for silver and white gold, which I still love for everyday; but lately I have found myself wearing more gold and gold-toned pieces, and the above are all fabulous! I think I need to add that moon-and-stars necklace (GoT reference? ;-)) and those studs to my Christmas wishlist!
