Splurge vs Steal: 5 Best Gifts for Baby

(Please note: This post contains affiliate links!)

I am not going to call this a holiday gift list because I think it would be useful for any time of year, but if you need some last minute ideas, here you go!

How about a cozy blanket? When Hunter was born, we got an organic cotton flannel blanket by Swaddle Designs that was wonderful. It's a steal at around $30, but if you want to splurge, how about a handmade heirloom-quality quilt (lovingly made by my dad's cousin in Washington) from this etsy shop?

Speaking of heirloom, what about a sterling silver gift? If you want to splurge, go for a silver rattle like this one. For something a bit more affordable, you can get a personalized ID bracelet from JULIAN & Co, as seen on Hunter!

Baby Paloma is already drooling a ton, so offering her a teether toy is just around the corner. This silicone one is a steal under $10. Of course, you can always splurge and get Sophie!

At around three months, it's good to offer baby a wooden rattle both for developing her grasp and refining her sense of hearing. The Dolio by Naef is a classic in Montessori training manuals but a splurge at $50. Another lovely rattle is this one by PlanToys, a steal at $10.

Also, check out this gift list that features one of my recommendations: a classic sock monkey! Splurge with a Made in USA version, or this one is a steal at under $15.
